What Is Artificial Intelligence? How it is Changing the world ?

In today’s digital world, terms like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are frequently used—often interchangeably. While they are closely related and sometimes overlap, they are not quite the same thing. Understanding the distinction between the two is crucial for anyone interested in modern technology, data science, or the future of automation.
Artificial Intelligence is a broad field of computer science focused on building systems that can perform tasks typically requiring human intelligence. These tasks may include problem-solving, language understanding, decision-making, recognising patterns, and even mimicking human emotions or reasoning.
AI is essentially the pursuit of creating machines that can behave and think like humans—or at least simulate that kind of behaviour. It encompasses everything from simple rule-based systems to complex neural networks. AI can be categorised into two main types: narrow AI, which is designed for specific tasks (like facial recognition or voice assistants), and general AI, which would hypothetically possess human-level intelligence across a range of tasks (though this remains largely theoretical for now).
